Fishing Derby

Windy, but sunny weather, was the theme for this years Kids Learn to Fish Day and the Father’s Day Fishing Derby. There were two full classes of 25 new fishers each and 22 alumni brought their rods gear to help out with the new groups.

The North Peace Rod and Gun Club and Backcountry would like to express their sincere appreciation for the tireless work by our volunteers and all the sponsors who help make these events such a huge success.

Thank you to the volunteers, our sponsors and all the people who came out to the Kids Learn to Fish and Father’s Day Fishing Derby this past weekend. We had a huge turnout and amazing weather. These kids learned how to fish on the Saturday at the Kids Learn to Fish, and caught some beautiful fish on Sunday at the derby. It was an amazing weekend and was so much fun!
