The North Peace Rod and Gun Club will be closed from December 21, 2011 to January 1, 2012 for the holidays. The Range Reopens on January 2, 2012 at noon.

Starting Monday, January 2, 2012 the range will be open:

Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Saturdays and Sundays: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Statutory Holidays: July 1, 2012, August 6, 2012, and September 3, 2012

The range will be closed:

Wednesdays and Thursdays, Christmas Break, and all other statutory holidays others than those listed above.

During the period of October 1, 2011 until March 30, 2012:

Handguns and 22 Rifle

The Indoor Pistol Range be open on Tuesday Nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm for IDPA or IPSC shooting, and Thursday Nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.as an Open Night for pistols and kids 22 rifle.

Archery

The Indoor Pistol Range be open on Monday Nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Wednesday Nights from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.as an Open Nights for Archery.

Please arrive before 7:30 PM otherwise the organizer may close the range and leave.

Labour Board guidelines as related to our caretaker Al are requiring that the operating hours for the club must be adjusted. This situation will be discussed at general meeting on September 26, 2011.

Starting on September 1, 2011 the Range will be closed on all Statutory Holidays, as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays. The following hours of operation for the range will also be in place:

  • Hours of Operation for September 2011 Range will be Open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, Open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Hours of Operation for October 2011 Range will be Open Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, Open Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Hours of Operation for November 2011 Range will be Open Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Hours of Operation for December 2011 will be determined at a future meeting, prior to the 1st of December.

The Oilman’s Trap Shoot is on July 8th and 9th, and to accommodate this annual event, the range will be closed for all other activities from noon on July 8th until the morning of Sunday, July 10.

The outdoor pistol range will be closed June 10-12 because it will be used for defensive shotgun and pistol courses. These are instructor led course in the defensive use of shotguns and pistols. Friday is the shotgun course, Saturday is defensive pistol and Sunday is advanced defensive pistol.

The outdoor pistol range will be closed June 10-12 to accommodate these training courses. The rest of the range, including the indoor pistol range, remain open during normal operating hours.

The North Peace Rod and Gun Club is pleased to announce that the indoor handgun and small bore range will reopen on Saturday, April 2, 2011 after many months of planning, upgrading of the ventilation system and backstopping, and hard work by members of the handgun committee.

The ranges at the North Peace Rod and Gun Club will be closed from December 22, 2010 to January 3, 2011 to give our caretakers Al and Connie holidays.
