It was with great pleasure, the North Peace Rod and Gun Club hosted the 42nd (maybe 43rd) Fort St. John Petroleum Association’s Trap Shoot on July 12, 2025. The weather was decent with the winds gusting at times to keep the shooters on their toes. It was encouraging to see a large turnout of over 80 shooters, some new, and some who have attended most if not all of the 42 shoots over the years.
It was also great to see our MP Bob Zimmer and his wife Val out at the event — Bob is a strong advocate in Ottawa for lawful firearms owners and recreational shooters.
These events aren’t possible without the help of dedicated volunteers and sponsors, and thanks goes out to them.
