Current Closures and/or Adjustments to the Range Operating Procedure

On behalf of the Directors of the Club we would like to inform you of some changes for this coming year as a result of the recent inspection/review of the Range by the Chief Firearms Office. Following their attendance and the subsequent application of their Danger Area

templates the following changes have been implemented:

  1. Trap House Numbers 1 & 2 have been closed,
  2. Skeet Range has been closed,
  3. Trap House #4 and the 50m pistol/.22 range have been found to be in conflict and alternating closures will occur. We are hopeful that we will be able to return these two ranges to normal operation relatively soon after some modifications.

Your directors are exploring ways to get our range back up and fully operational and we appreciate your understanding as we work on this matter. We have no timeline to offer you as we research and carry on discussions with the Chief Firearms Office.

If you have any questions then please reach out to Tyler Mikkelson, Rick Ekkel or Dave Bonar who are heading up the committee.
