The 9th Annual Rich Petersen Youth Memorial Whitetail, Mule Deer & Big Game Recognition Awards are back for the 2026 hunting season.
Part of the North Peace Rod & Gun Club Youth Celebration of Hunting Program, this annual event recognizes young hunters and keeps the traditions, skills and experiences of hunting moving into the next generation.
Youth Club Members 18 and under can enter eligible deer and big game harvested during the 2026 hunting season for official scoring.
Eligible categories include Whitetail Deer, Mule Deer, Bison, Moose, Elk, Bear, Sheep, Goat, Caribou, Wolf and Cougar.
Scoring deadline: Friday, January 22, 2027 Scoring is by appointment with Royd Lusk at 250-261-4320.
Awards and lunch will be held Sunday, February 7, 2027 at 12:00 p.m. at the NPRGC Clubhouse.
