It was windy and slippery, but that didn’t dampen the spirits of more than 30 junior outdoorsmen and women who came along with their parents to Kids Appreciation Day at the North Peace Rod and Gun Club. The day started off with a variety of indoor and outdoor shooting events and ended with the trophy awards. Kacie Peever was the lucky young woman and Devon Shawchek the lucky young man (pictured below with NPRG President Guy Lahaye) who went away with the rifle packages donated by Scott Ebert of Northern Snubbing and Dwayne Shawcheck of Essential Well Services.
Backcountry and the North Peace Rod and Gun Club also sponsored a variety of prizes and dinner. The North Peace Rod and Gun would also like to thank Dave Bonar, Guy Lahaye, Mike Lahaye, Dave Wallace, Greg Nichols, Steve Hewitt and Ozzy Kehoe for making this day a great success.
