The North Peace Rod and Gun Club will once again host the B.C. Wildlife Federation’s Wild Kidz camp in Fort St. John

British Columbia’s biggest and oldest conservation organization will hold a five-day fun camp for children aged eight through 14 at a location near Fort St. John.

The BCWF’s wilderness-based day camp will be held at the North Peace Rod & Gun Club August 21 through 25.

Wild Kidz participants learn outdoor skills, wilderness safety and experience the region’s wild spaces in a fun, safe environment.

This outdoors-based day camp includes visits to local ecological attractions, such as provincial or national parks, fishing, archery, map & compass orienteering, marksmanship, shelter-building and even practical First Aid.

BCWF members deliver programs and demonstrations all day, Monday through Friday, and the week wraps up with a BBQ party and archery tournament.

Registration is limited and these camps sell out fast! The Early Bird Discount ends April 14. BCWF members also receive a discount at registration. If cost is a barrier to your child’s participation, please ask us about a subsidy at youth@bcwf.bc.ca
