The North Peace Rod and Gun Club, along with many clubs across Canada, is celebrating National Range Day on Saturday June 4, 2022! On behalf of the current members and directors, we look forward to providing you with this opportunity to visit our Range on June 4th.

National Range Day is a day created to recognize the 2.3 million licensed gun owners who responsibly, legally, and safely own and use firearms in Canada.

National Range Day is a perfect day for gun owners to take out new shooters and get them familiarized with the sport we love and cherish.

National Range Day is a program of the Canadian Coalition for Firearms Rights. We need to preserve our sport for future generations and we need you to spread the word about this important day!

Attendees will be able to try the following disciplines:

  • Trap — 3 rounds from each of the five stations
  • Handgun indoor range — 10 rounds .22LR revolver or pistol and 10 rounds 9mm pistol
  • Small Bore Rifle (Precision Rimfire Shooting introduction) — positional shooting with .22  at metallic targets
    — total of 20 rounds per shooter

We will be demonstrating the sport of IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) at 2:00-3:00pm.

We will start the day at 10:00am and end the day at 3:00pm.
